December 2011  This past year has been a difficult one for me, since my daughter, Jacque Haner lost her long 6 1/2 year battle with cancer last December, 2010.  Jacque loved horses and showing and had shown quarter horses since her early teens.  We formed Wright Place Showclothing together and she helped me in the designing and making of shirts, jackets and chaps.  I miss her so very much...we found a good home for her showhorse fondly named "Joe" and hopefully he will continue to be shown and loved just as she wanted. I will continue designing and making show shirts and jackets since I truly love doing this.  I will not be making chaps since that was really Jacque's talent, not mine. Here's wishing each and everyone of you a blessed holiday season and a wonderful 2012 show season.  If you are in need of new showclothes, please email me and I'll be glad to work with you designing that "perfect shirt/jacket" that makes "winners" in the showring!  Happy Showing, Judy Wright December 2009 Well it didn't take long for old man winter to arrive here in Kansas!  It's been VERY cold and we've already had several days of snowfall.  Pretty to see, but doesn't allow much riding for those of us without indoor arenas!  Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!  We spent a weekend at the AQHA World Show in November checking out the newest and up-to-date styles for 2010.  We're busy working on custom orders for the upcoming Spring shows and we'd love to create something special for you.  We have several new designs we're working on or if you have something special in mind, give us a call or email and we'd be happy to create that special outfit for you. We're in the process of updating the web site and hope to have it completed within the next few days.  In the meantime, check out the new photos on the main page of recent designs.  They are truly spectacular and will stand out in the arena!  If you're interested in something similar, contact us soon.  There's still plenty of time to get your custom shirt completed before the Spring shows begin. It's been a very rainy show season for most of us in the midwest!  Even so, our business has been traveling to the Pinto World Championship Show, Regional POA shows, and upcoming Pride of the Prairie Pinto Shows.  We also plan to set up at the Hope in the Heartland Quarter Horse shows in Wichita this fall.  We've been busy selling to a variety of horse people of all ages.  We have also been offering a few items on ebay and will be offering some ready made items on the web site as well. 

With the upcoming quarter horse world shows in sight, we'd love to make you a special outfit whether you're a youth showing at the Ford World Championship Show, a select exhibitor getting ready for the Bayer Select World Show, or looking forward to showing at the All-American Quarter Horse Congress or AQHA Open and Amateur World show.  We're here to make that special outfit for all ages.

To those of you who were our former customers, friends and acquaintances, and to those of you who have “never heard of us before”, we are so excited to announce the reopening of “The Wright Place” – exactly the “right place” for all your Custom Western Show clothing needs!

Both Jacque and I have really missed the “horseshow world” and can hardly wait to renew old friendships and make new ones! Jacque has looked forward to being back in the show ring, and after an absence of over 20 years, she has purchased a new quarter horse gelding, affectionately called “Joe”, so be sure and tell her hello when you see her.

Many of you may know Jerry and Edye Wright who are both very active in the horse world! They have helped us “catch up” with the many changes that have taken place over the years. Jacque and I have been going to some of the shows, including the AQHA World Championship show in Oklahoma City. This has really helped us get “up to date” regarding the showclothes, etc.

We’d love to hear from you ….let us know what your needs are for the upcoming show season and we’ll do our very best to help you achieve the look you want in the showring. We are currently taking orders, so if you're wanting something for a special event, order early!
